Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The article has not been previously published and is not under review by another journal.
  • The article is in PDF format which was generated by the magazine's Latex template.
  • The article has a length of less than 8 pages if it is a research case and less than 12 pages if it is a tutorial. The minimum length of an article is 6 pages.
  • The text is single spaced, double column, italic instead of underline; and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed in the correct place in the text instead of at the end of it.
  • The text must comply with the style and bibliography format according to the author's guide.
  • The writing of the article is in spanish or english.
  • The article abstract is presented in both english and spanish for the submission metadata form.

Author Guidelines

The magazine template file is in LaTex format, which can be downloaded here.

The template is compatible with the Overleaf platform, you can also use different editors like TexMaker or TexStudio.
