La visión futurista de Arthur C. Clarke (1917-2008)

Abstract

More than 60 years, it was proposed global communications using artificial satellites. Today, especially for the generations of 1990’s and later, it seems nothing unusual. However, if we look at the date on which such a proposal was made, we realize that we were ahead over 20 years to the possibility that a human being set foot on the moon (from 1945 to 1969). The article makes a very modest tribute to this genius because his death in March. This article introduces briefly the futuristic vision of Arthur C. Clarke, to show in a second article, some link calculations for earthmoon-earth.
