Abstract

In this paper, it is shown a detailed analysis of the operation of a bi-directional Buck-Boost converter used in energy storage systems. The analysis is made obtaining its equations in representation of state space, with these equations a detailed function is made in Matlab is presented to model the electronic converter. To validate the mathematical model, a typical simulation made in Simulink and compared with the results obtained from the function. The results show a correct representation of the mathematical model obtained.
