Main Article Content
Abstract
Sustainable family self-sufficiency is an agroforestry system that can provide many benefits to the food security landscape in Mexico. The task of educating and persuading the interested party to start a family garden, are challenges that require a mechanism that allows exploring and practicing the activities that managing a garden implies. In addition, the mechanism must be able to change the user’s attitude and intention towards starting a real family garden. One media that integrates solutions to these challenges is the seriously persuasive simulation video game. In the present work, we describe the design process of “Farmily”, a serious persuasive videogame to promote sustainable family self-sufficiency
