Abstract

The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has generated various problems and changes in the daily life in which we were all accustomed to lead. In this way, in educational environments, the pandemic changed the way to impart education, that is, it went from face-to-face to virtual sessions. However, given this implemented strategy, in order to contribute to social distancing, the possible harmful consequences that this would cause were not taken into account. Therefore, in this research we focus on determining the possible causes, such as anxiety, depression or stress, caused by the pandemic, which have caused poor academic performance in students. In this way, the methodology implemented was basic cross-sectional explanatory because we wanted to determine if certain problems, such as anxiety, depression or stress, caused a low academic performance in the students registered.
