Abstract

The Photovoltaic systems have their maximum performance under optimal operating conditions, due to this, extensive research has been carried out on several techniques for detecting faults in solar panels. In this work, three of the fault identification methods are used: visual inspection, infrared thermography, and inverter output power analysis applied to a photovoltaic farm as a case study.
