Abstract

Impact and rollover detection systems are essential for an immediate response to accidents, but not all vehicles incorporate them. This work presents a prototype based on descriptive statistics programmed in a microcontroller with sensors for geolocation and event detection. Laboratory tests were carried out under normal and impact conditions, which allowed to distinguish events. The results demonstrate that the system identifies them, offering a viable solution.
