Abstract
The word LASER is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. A laser is a light amplifier which is capable of producing an intense beam of photons that have special features: brightness, monochromaticity, coherence and directionality. To use a laser, you must have knowledge of them, the characteristics of each one and select the appropriate application.
